Abstract

The voice of the dared thinker in the desert. – The text draws attention to the spreading of the desert of non-thinking in relation to the already long-term direction of the concept of “learning” which pushes the contact with the thought-provoking out of education. This reduces the possibility of initiation and promotion of the real – thoughtful – thinking, which is conceptually replaced with work with information and its generation. Hopes for survival of oases opposing spiritual desolation rests in spreading dialogue with those who dare to think.

    Mgr. Jiří Sůva, Ph.D. je metodikem pro vzdělávání a příležitostným lektorem na Vyšší policejní škole a Střední policejní škole Ministerstva vnitra v Praze. Tam se věnuje problematikám lidských práv, etiky, korupce a usiluje o uvádění policistů a policistek do filosofického myšlení. Doktorské studium filosofie absolvoval v rámci programu katedry občanské výchovy a filosofie Pedagogické fakulty Univerzity Karlovy v Praze.
