Towards decision at the end of life. – The author ponders the problem of death in postmodern time from ontological and ontical point of view. Ontological thinking seeks ratio essendi, ontical description uses ratio cognoscendi. A modern man is under the rule of systems. It means the will to the will, which is a variety of the will to power in the form of systems with objective validity, which were scientifically based.
