Music pedagogical conference on research and practice in music education

Abstrakt

This report is about a music education conference with international participation in September 2024 and was hosted by the Department of Music Education at the Faculty of Education, Charles University in Celetná Street, Prague. During the three days, scientific papers were presented, and two symposia and practical papers were presented. The conference included numerous inspiring workshops, a meeting of music education didacticians, a memorial meeting about Pavel Jurkovič, and a very successful and musically well prepared accompanying programme in three evening concerts. The conference was held on the occasion of the 90th Anniversary of the Society for Music Education of the Czech Republic.
