Abstract

The article presents the possibilities of using digital technologies in the preparation of future teachers in undergraduate studies and in the adaptation period when they start their first job in a school. The paper focuses on the possibilities of collaboration between students and their accompanying and introducing teachers and faculty didacticians in this area. Collaboration, planning and evaluation of the development of students‘ and novice teachers‘ digital competence ensures their easier entry into the role of a teacher who uses technology effectively not only to develop students‘ digital competence in their teaching, but also their own teaching competence. The paper analyses and reflects on how the systematic use of specifi c digital tools
(e.g. Canva, Mentimeter, Miro, Orgpad, etc.) leads to the development of the digital competence of teachers and consequently their students.
