Abstract

This article summarizes the key topics of the international scientific conference on choral art, which took place as part of the national showcase of choral ensembles, Choralia magna 2024, in Hradec Králové. The conference focused on choral singing, the choral movement, its impact on culture, education, and wellbeing, both nationally and internationally. Participants discussed cooperation between the public, private, and international sectors, educational approaches, the therapeutic effects of choral singing, and the specific needs and challenges of the choral community. The conference also included an analysis of the choral scene in various countries and examples of inspiring projects.
